Ok, so in one month from now (11-11-11), something totally exciting is happening that I've been waiting 3+ years for - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is being released! YIPPEEEEEE!! I pre-ordered it months ago and will be getting release day delivery :)
If you know me, then you know that I'm pretty much addicted to video games. Specifically role-playing games. I blame it on my dad (and mom) that I love them so much (well fantasy in general). They have played them my whole life, plus before I was born they played lots of D&D with their friends. Betrayal at Krondor was my first "experience" with computer games as a kid, and so I look back fondly on that one when I reminisce about old computer games. And of course Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit have been my favorite books since I was in kindergarten. I seriously love them and often dream of going on adventures. Whenever I see snow-capped mountains I always imagine being with Bilbo's party and traversing the Misty Mountains, only to be caught by goblins.
ANYWAY, back to Skyrim. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released in 2006, and I love that game. I have logged over 300 hours in it and own a house in every major city in the game... lol. I looked on TES website EVERY SINGLE day for over a year, waiting for an announcement that there was going to be a TES V. Well, I finally got my announcement last year on December 12th! I watched the announcement trailer several times a day afterwards (driving Brandon nuts lol), and then pre-ordered the game. Now, all that is left, is one month and then I get to play it!
I'M SO EXCITED!!
