I took the kids to the doctor yesterday for their 2 and 4 year check-ups and shots. It was the worst appointment ever. However I don't feel like going into everything that went wrong - I was on the verge of crying and was very stressed out (and the kids behavior was only a very minor portion of that). But here are their stats:
Hayden (4 years)
Height: 42.3 inches (87%)
Weight: 41 lbs 13 oz (88%)
Theoden (2 years)
Height: 35.5 inches (74%)
Weight: 33 lbs 14 oz (95%)
Head Circumference: 50.5 cm (89%)
So Theo has gone up again in his weight percentile (sob!) but I asked the doctor if he was overweight. He looked a little thoughtful, but then said that no, he didn't think so. He said he's always been just a large kid and he is fairly tall as well. That made me feel a little bit better, to hear the doctor say he's not too worried.
Other things that we talked about - I told him how hyper Hayden is and how difficult it is for me to get him to focus on anything (especially potty-training!) and he didn't sound overly concerned. It sounds like he will probably "grow out of it". I also mentioned the breathing problems that he seems to have at night (weezing/snoring sounds) and how horrible he sounded/looked when he got that cold about a month ago. He said he wasn't too worried about that either, but to bring him in if it gets bad again. Hayden's vision and hearing were both good though. Yay!
