Brynn turned one month old last week. It makes me so sad how quickly these days/months go by once the baby gets here. The pregnancy always seems to drag and now every day seems to barely exist they go by so fast.
I honestly have not felt much like blogging at all since she got here. Just seems like work rather than an outlet, which is what it felt like before. But here I am, posting.
She is doing well for the most part. She got a cold when she was 2 weeks old and has still not gotten better :( She nurses like a champ - I have had the easiest time with her out of all 3 of them! I think I only got 1.5 blisters this time and very little pain! So that was very nice, maybe because I stopped nursing Theo only a month or so before she was born? She doesn't sleep through the night - but I sleep with her a lot. I always have good intentions of keeping her in her bassinet, but when I'm dead tired at 3 AM it is much easier to take her to bed with me - so I am falling into the same habit that I did with the previous 2 kids. But, I'm ok with it - it works for me/us and helps me get much more sleep.
Hayden LOVES her! And I mean seriously loves her. He is constantly asking to hold her (so much it gets on my nerves lol!), and telling her he loves her, holding her hand, covering her with blankets when they fall off, etc. He just loves her. Theo likes her too, but not to the same extent as Hayden. He wants to hold her hand, kiss her and hug her, but when he is tired and wants me to hold him instead he gets very jealous. Several times now he comes in all teary-eyed asking me to hold him and if I say "You will have to wait a minute the baby is nursing," then his jaw starts trembling and he says all serious-like, "Put the baby down, Mom!" Makes me so sad, but it is sweet. I love that little boy so much, he is not nearly as grown up as his brother. He tries to act like it though haha! But he still has many baby qualities.
