Sick

This last week has been downright horrible for all of us. It started with Theo on Sunday 1.5 weeks ago - he threw up in the car on the way over to Brandon's dad's house. And he threw up everywhere. There were puddles everywhere. The backseat of the car and his carseat needed quite the cleaning (as a matter of fact, there is still a lingering smell in the car...). We weren't sure if he had just stuck his finger down his throat to induce vomiting (which he does regularly... just not to that extent!) or if he was sick. Well about 3 hours later he threw up all over Brandon's stepmom, Lisa. Then we knew he was sick.

He had no more throwing up episodes, but the next day (Monday) he had a 102.5 fever which lasted a whole day +. Then he started having diarrhea.

It was sometime around here (midweek) that Hayden started having diarrhea - it was so bad. He couldn't even control it and had diarrhea in his bed in the middle of the night (I think Wed. or Thurs night) and just laid there for who knows how long before he came and got us. The laying in it resulted in a horrible rash. The next 4 days consisted of regular diarrhea and basically no eating for Hayden (meaning he refused to eat). He finally seemed better this Monday (the day I almost brought him to the doctor).

On Saturday, guess who woke up feeling nauseous? Me. By midday my whole body was aching and I just wanted to lay down. Unfortunately we had gone to a cat show 2 hours from my parents house (whom we were visiting that weekend), so I was unable to get much rest. When we got home late afternoon I took tylenol and went to bed. I woke up feeling better around dinner time, but as soon as I ate a few bites of dinner I felt nauseous again.

And guess who else was now throwing up? Yes, Hayden was now throwing up on my parents kitchen floor. It was a horrible night. I threw up about 3 times in the middle of the night (Saturday). I woke up feeling quite a bit better the next morning (Sunday).

Then on Monday, Brandon got sick. He was in bed most of the day with aches and nausea. He never threw up though (thank goodness!).

Now we are all "better", except I think the kids have colds? Theo is coughing and has a constant runny nose. And by last night Hayden also had a runny nose.

GEEZ when will this end?!?! Sorry if that was too much information - this last week or so has just been so tough!
