OK

Really quick - Theo is sleeping in the crib! Like right now! He didn't have a late afternoon nap today and so he was definitely tired by 7:30/8:00. So I rocked him for a minute and then put him in the crib. He cried. I came back in a few minutes later and rocked him some more, sang to him, put him back down and patted his back. He was ok until I left the room - then he started crying again. But then, a few minutes later, right before I was going to go back in to soothe him he fell asleep.

So next up is getting Hayden into his bed without waking Theo. And then... comes the middle of the night wake-ups that no doubt will be starting in a few hours. That will be the hard part... at least I really remember struggling with that with Hayden. But hopefully we can somehow get him into a routine of sleeping longer at night and eventually through the night.
