My Mom

Well, I have been stressed out to no end the past few weeks. The closer the exam gets the more dread and pressure I feel. I can’t wait for it to be over. I really need to pass (as much as possible) this time. I am looking forward to the month of November because it will be more of a “relaxation” month. I will be able to get ready for Christmas (do all my shopping early & decorate) as well as prepare for the baby. Since we moved to our new house most of all the “old” baby stuff is still in the garage and I am itching to bring it all in and start going through it.

Anyway, my mom has been a great help. She has been coming up for one day a weekend to watch Hayden for me and help clean so that I can have a full day to study with minimal interruptions. I only have 4 weekends left and I need as much time as possible to cram in as much knowledge as possible. Last weekend, we went up to see my parents rather than have my mom come here, so she watched him for 2 days!! It was great. They had their annual pow-wow going on, too, and my parents brought Hayden to go see that and apparently he was very enthralled with all of the Indian dancing! Wish I could have gone…

My mom is really a great person. I am known to get stressed out and upset very easily and over everything that just doesn’t matter that much in the long run, but she always helps me put everything in perspective. Thanks Mom!

She sent this picture to me not that long ago, it’s a picture of her as a little girl at her first communion. I think she’s so cute! It’s hard to imagine her as a little girl, but I can definitely tell it is her!

I couldn’t find a more recent picture of her just by herself, so this next one is at Brandon’s and my wedding (Jan. 2nd, 2008 – 11 days before Hayden was born!). My mom is on the far left, followed by my Dad, Brandon, me, and my brother Justin. Such a happy day!

  1. Wow Jasmine, I feel so special to be part of your blog! Pictures and all. Thanks for adding me!

This weekend we get to take Hayden to the Kern County Fair (babysitting is pretty cool... doing all this fun stuff!)

I look forward to seeing you then too Jas!

  2. Jasmine, great post and tribute to your Mom. I sent her a few more pictures that I had of her. So after your big test, see if she will send them to you.

    Good luck and study hard!
