Doctor Appointment

I had my regular doctor appointment on Thursday - 2 days ago. Brandon came with me. First, apparently the doctor had been in the ICU all morning so I almost had to reschedule, but luckily she got back just in time. Then, she couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler so she decided to do an ultrasound. But apparently all the ultrasound people were gone? So she was trying to do it by herself, but she's never done one before?!?! So it was just really awkward, she was trying to figure out what to do (she couldn't even figure out how to turn the machine on at first!), and finally one lady who does ultrasounds was able to come help - well actually they moved me to a different room. Then she proceeded to teach the doctor how to use the ultrasound machine and it just took forever. I guess I was the guinea pig. ANYWAY, the baby was still there and measuring at exactly 11 weeks 2 days for the first measurement and 11 weeks 3 days for the second measurement - so pretty much right where it was supposed to! And the heartbeat was 164 bpm. I'm happy about that, and Brandon got to see it jumping up and down. The whole appointment took an hour, I think that's the longest time I've ever spent with the doctor other than at delivery.

We have the NT scan on Monday - my mom is coming to spend the day and night with me and go to the appointment and just hang out. I'm really happy about that, I want some time to spend with her.

I am still sick. Same old same old. Ready for it to end. So that's about all.

Oh yeah - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is coming out in a little less than 3 months! 11-11-11. I've been waiting for that game FOREVER (like years)!! I already pre-ordered it and I am just so excited. My morning sickness should be gone just in time to play it! I can't wait :)
