Halloween Pictures & Recent Happenings

Ok, so I figured I should update a little. Apparently I'm not too good at being a consistent blogger. Does anybody even read this thing anyway? haha. I suppose it doesn't really matter. If I DID blog regularly, then maybe I'd actually have some readers. Anyway, in case anybody is reading (and also just for my record), I am going to continue to attempt to post on occasion. Oh jeez, I am quite worried about when the baby comes - will I never blog again...??!! I hope not!

First off, here's some pictures of my cute little boy dressed up in his dragonsaurus costume. He took his stuffed dragon with him everywhere that night (his stuffed dinosaur was simply too big for him to carry very far!). We are new to this neighborhood and I wasn't really sure how Halloween is around here, so we just bought a bunch of candy and let Hayden help give it out. We had a TON of trick-or-treaters, so I'm guessing next year it's safe to bet that we can take Hayden out and it will be safe. We did take him out to push around his cart around the cul-de-sac, and he had a blast. Our neighbors gave him some candy (so he kind of got to go trick-or-treating), and he just kept running, running, running. It was fun. Here he is:

In other news, not much has been happening. I went out of town for a few days for a training course for work. That went well, I learned a lot, and I feel somewhat more comfortable with all the CNG terminology. I only missed 3 on the exam... I guess that's good.

Also we are 33/34 weeks pregnant! Holy smokes!! I had my 33 week appointment last Friday, it was fine, the doctor did make me feel guilty for gaining a tad bit too much weight (I won't mention the exact number - but what do you expect when Halloween was in between appointments!!), but the baby measured at 32-33 weeks, so basically pretty much on track. I go again in 2 weeks and then it's weekly appointments til the baby is born. I can't believe this. I'm 34 weeks. Hayden was born at 38 weeks. Does that mean I could have as little as 4 weeks left? YIKES. Actually, I'm having a lot of baby anxiety, but I think I'll make that a whole other post later this week. I've been pretty stressed when it comes to all the baby stuff. More like I've been having emotional breakdowns and crying a lot because I don't feel ready for this. So like I said, lots of anxiety.

Thanksgiving is next week. Hayden & I are for sure going to my parents. Hopefully Brandon will come too, but he doesn't sound too thrilled, but I hope he wants to come and be with our family for the holiday. Well, that's all. Talk to you later.

  1. Jasmine;

    Not to worry. I read your blog faithfully. It is on my home page next to Katie's, Todd's and Joe's so I know when you have a fresh post.

    As far as Brandon going with you for Thanksgiving, tell him I said that is one of the things you have to do in life whether or not you want to. Tell him if he doesn't go, I am going to send Justin down to kick his butt (heh, heh)
